Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Online examination (Preliminary & Main) for Officers Scale I & Office Assistants (Multi-purpose), Common interview for Officers Scale I, single online examination & Common interview for Officers Scale II (Generalist and Specialists) & Scale III.

Application Fee: Applicants required to pay Rs.100/- for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates, Rs. 600/- for all others for Officer (Scale I, II & III), Rs.100/- for SC/ ST/ PWD/ EXSM candidates, Rs. 600/- for all others for Office Assistant (Multipurpose) through online by using Debit Cards (RuPay/ Visa/ Master Card/ Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.   • GDS BPM – Branch Post Master
  • GDS MD – Mail Deliverer

BPM Post – Gramin Dak Sevak Work

  • BPM – Branch Post Master
  • Every village gram panchayat will have a branch of Post Office called as the Gramin Dak Seva.
  • The job of BPM or Branch Post Master will have to administer the working of the respective branch of Gramin Dak.
  • If the Gram Panchayat consists of more than 1 village, then you will have to lead the MD, MC, and Packers that will be appointed there.
  • You have to make sure that you open maximum number of accounts in your branch.
  • Wit the help of the MD, you will have to promote Government Schemes like Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, etc. and P.L.I. or Postal Life Insurance Policies.
  • The BPM will also book register posts, speed posts, MO’s (Money Orders), parcels etc.
  • Basically, you will be heading the Branch.

MD Post – Gramin Dak Sevak Work

  • MD – Mail Deliverer
  • The job profile of the Mail Deliver or GDS MD is to assist the BPM or Branch Post Master.
  • You will be given targets to complete.
  • You will have to persuade and help villagers regarding opening of Savings Accounts in your branch.
  • As MD comes under MTS i.e. Multi Tasking Staff, MD will also have to collect Mail from the Head Office/Sub Office and Deliver it to your respective Branch.
  • If the MC is on leave, the Mail Deliverer will also have to Deliver the mail in the village.

MC Post – Gramin Dak Sevak Work

  • MC – Mail Carrier
  • As the name suggests, the job of Mail Carrier is to carry the mail from the branch and deliver it within the village.
  • Though it may seem like a Post-Man, as MC’s come under MTS, i.e. Multi Tasking Staff, they will have to assist the BPM and MD is the smooth functioning of their Branch.

Packer – Gramin Dak Sevak Work

  • The work of GDS Packer is to perform variety of functions.
  • You will have to open the mail bag that will reach the Branch every morning.
  • You will have to sort the mail according to their preference.
  • You will also have to pack the mails that needs to sent to other places in mail bags, for the mail van to come and collect it every evening.
  • You will also have to assist the BPM, MD & MC in their jobs.

SBI Clerk Admit Card 2016: The wait is finally over now, SBI has released the SBI Clerk Admit Card 2016 for Preliminary Online examination. The link for downloading the SBI Clerk Admit Card is available on the official website of SBI. Even the direct link for downloading the admit card is available here too. The candidates can click on the link to download their admit card without any hassle. SBI Clerk Hall Ticket will have all information related to date, time, venue and other details related to the exam.

The candidates can download the SBI Clerk Call Letter 2016 by submitting the registration number and the date of birth/password. Don’t forget to download the admit card before the last day ends. If the candidates face any difficulties in downloading the admit cards, click on the link that will be hosted on this page after the SBI Clerk Admit Card is released. The issuance of admit card for the main exams will be made once the results of the prelims are declared.

Details of the SBI Clerk Admit Card 2016

The candidates should verify the following information in the admit card of SBI Clerk 2016 –

Important points to remember:
The candidates are directed to keep in mind the following points before appearing for the exams:
  • Once the print out of the admit card is generated. The candidates should paste passport-sized colour photo in the designated space (Note: Do not staple the photo in the admit card rather stick it with a glue).
  • Attach a photocopy of the government photo ID such as license, Aadhar card, ration card, voter ID or passport.
  • The candidates are directed to write their name, roll number, registration number and put their initials on the photocopy of the ID proof.
  • The candidates should also take the photocopy of the admit card and staple the photocopy to the admit card.
  • The candidates should bring the similar original photo ID card which they have submitted while filling the application form while coming to the examination centre.
  • Candidates are advised to keep their e-mail ID active for receiving information regarding call letters.
  • The candidates must bring one photo identity proof such as passport/Adhar/PAN Card/Driving Licence/ Voter’s Card/Bank Passbook with duly attested Photograph/Identity Card issued by School or College/Gazetted Officer in the official letterhead in original as well as a self-attested Photocopy thereof.
  • The photocopy of Identity proof should be submitted along with call letter to the invigilators in the examination hall, failing which will disqualify the candidate to appear for the test.
  • Remember that the hard copy of the admit card will not be sent by post.

Process for downloading the SBI Clerk Admit Card 2016:

Follow the process mentioned below for downloading the admit card:
  1. Open the link mentioned above: At the very first step, candidates are directed to refer the link give above to download their admit card.
  2. Enter the required details: The candidates are supposed to enter their registration number, password, date of birth and other necessary details for fulfilling the first requirement of downloading the admit card. Enter the details correctly.
  3. Proceed to submit button: After filling the necessary details, press the submit button for getting the call letter.
  4. Display of admit card: Within few seconds, your admit card will be displayed automatically on the screen.
  5.
