You can give the UPSC Civil Service Exam 6 times.(i) An attempt at a Preliminary Examination is considered to be an attempt at the Civil Services Examination.
(ii) If a candidate actually appears in any one paper in the Preliminary Examination, he/she is considered to have made an attempt in the UPSC Examination.

- You will receive a provisional Registration Number and Password.
- Make sure to note these down and save them.
- Complete the Part II of application.
- You will also be required to pay online.
